The course description is as follows:
Computer Science is a course where students build upon previous computer knowledge and skills to learn how to use a variety of technologies as tools in their education at Marquette and in their post-secondary education. Units include: Information and Technology Literacy, The History of Computers, Computer Ethics, Societal Impact of Technology, Computer Systems, and MS Office 2010 applications which may be required or related to their academic subjects. Specifically, students learn how to use technology in their course work. Computer Science (or an equivalent) is a prerequisite for Advanced Computer Science. Students may test out of this course in spring with teacher approval.
