1. All applicants must submit a completed application to MUHS.
   • Applications must be submitted prior to taking the November entrance exam.
   • For convenience you may fill out an application online
2. All applicants must take the MUHS Entrance Exam.
   • The Entrance Exam is always held on the first Saturday in November.
3. Once a student has submitted an application and has completed the exam, MUHS will request transcripts from his current school.

How are students selected?

Marquette University High School does a thorough evaluation of every applicant. Below is a list of items that are used to help with the selection process:

1. Review of academic progress reports from junior high.
   • 6th through 8th grade report cards will be reviewed.
   • Grades and teacher comments will be considered.
2. Results of competitive entrance examination (similar to Iowa Basics or WKCE tests)
3. Review of previous standardized test results.
4. Review of written essay.
   • As part of the entrance exam, all students will write a short essay.
5. Student Interview (if necessary).
