Tuition Costs
2011-2012 Tuition - $10,235
The actual cost of education for a Marquette University High School student is $14,635. The difference between the actual cost and the tuition is made up through continual fund raising efforts. We strive to keep the tuition as low as possible for the families we serve.
Financial Aid
Students admitted to Marquette University High School may apply for the Financial Aid Program. At present, 28 percent of the student body receives financial aid. More than $1,405,000 in student financial aid will be provided during the school year.
The financial aid program here at MUHS is vital to attracting and retaining students. Parents seeking financial assistance for their son must complete a confidential form that highlights annual income, assets and liabilities. We contract with Financial Aid Independent Review, Inc. to process the financial aid applications and provide an objective evaluation of each family's financial need. FAIR is a nationally recognized leader in financial need evaluation services for Catholic and private schools.
The Financial Aid Committee reviews the recommendations and information provided by FAIR to determine the amount each qualified student will receive. MUHS cannot guarantee aid to all applicants. Awards are based on overall financial need (as indicated using federal tax forms) and timeliness of application.
The Process
The easy to understand financial aid application will be mailed in late-January to all registered incoming students and all current students receiving financial aid. There will be a $25 processing fee required to apply for financial aid and you will also have the opportunity to apply online.
The application deadline is March 16, 2012.
Financial aid award letters will be mailed by MUHS on April 27, 2012.
FAIR will require your 2011 federal tax return, and if applicable, will require business tax returns. The information that you provide will allow FAIR to accurately determine your family's need which remains the basis of our awards.
