Team Info

There is an all-freshman team with its own schedule for the season. On the first day of tryouts, freshmen will all be grouped together. Throughout the week the coaching staff will evaluate players and may ask certain soccer players to attend JV tryouts. Decisions to move players up will be a coaching decision based on player performances at tryouts. If asked to attend a JV tryout during the week, then that session would occur at 3:30pm.
The first meeting and practice will be on Monday, August 6th. Report to MUHS locker room at 9:30am, check in and get suited up. Practice/Tryouts will be at Merrill Park. We will walk over together. Each boy should bring 2 T-shirts (one light and one dark) with his name on them, shin guards, appropriate soccer cleats, a ball, and water.
Tryouts will run Monday-Friday from 10am – 12pm.
