For nearly 160 years, Marquette High has delivered an exceptional, college-preparatory experience to young men, helping them developing spirituality, emotionally, intellectually, artistically, morally and physically. Students are immersed in a respectful, challenging, and caring environment and become part of a diverse community.

During their four years, students will develop their faith and acquire an awareness of the dignity and needs of all people. Upon graduation, they will join a distinct and vast network of Marquette High alumni around the world who are Christ-like "Men for Others."

Core Curriculum
Marquette High’s core curriculum with a strong emphasis on the humanities equips students with the ability to speak and write well, to think critically and analyze issues.

Advanced Placement
Students seeking a college-level challenge in the classroom can find it through AP courses. 726 AP exams were administered in 17 subjects.

Marquette High seeks to create a diverse community where students are challenged to see the world from perspectives they've never experienced -- be it geographic, cultural, or socio-economic.
Co-curriculars
Marquette High offers more than 50 different homerooms and after-school clubs, including debate, robotics, Latin, Key Club, Best Buddies, rock climbing and improvisation.

Spiritual Development
As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, Ignatian spirituality, a spirituality for everyday life, guides students in their faith development through individual and group activities -- academic and experiential.

Men for Others
The service program at MUHS enables students to realize that their talents and gifts are to be developed for the good of the human community in pursuit of the Jesuit ideal of becoming "Men for Others."
Athletics
Team Work
At MUHS, 90% of students will play a interscholastic or club sport during their four years. At least one no-cut varsity sport and freshman teams are fielded every season in every sport.

Intramurals
The intramural program is enjoyed by 70% of students each year and offers basketball, dodgeball, kickball and indoor soccer. It's all for fun. No experience necessary.

We would love to show you the new facilities. When planning your visit please observe the following guidelines:

If you visit during the school day (8 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.), in order to avoid disruption of classes in session, we will gladly appoint a tour guide to show you around. When you arrive, please check in at the security desk. If you are interested in meeting with a particular teacher, coach or mentor, we ask that you do so by making an appointment in advance. For appointments you can phone or email the person you would like to visit. Teachers' email addresses are their last name@muhs.edu (i.e. eberle@muhs.edu). Search the faculty and staff directory.
You may also wish to pray or reflect in the Three Holy Companions chapel. You are invited to do so at any time as well as attend weekday Masses at 7:25 a.m. or Thursday Liturgies at 12:55 p.m.
Alumni and alumni parents are always invited to attend MUHS games and performances outside school hours. Please consult the MUHS website calendar for school events.
