Students in Marquette University High School’s Class of 2026 have been accepted to colleges and universities across the country and beyond.

This year’s graduating class earned admission to 226 colleges and universities, representing an impressive range of opportunities in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Canada and Ireland.

In the fall, MUHS graduates will attend 67 unique institutions. Forty-four young men, representing 19% of the class, will be the first in their families to attend college.

The class’s top destination is Marquette University with 45 students, followed by 27 students each attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

The Class of 2026 also continued Marquette High’s strong connection to Jesuit education. Students were accepted to 19 Jesuit universities, and 28% of the class will attend a Jesuit institution.

MUHS students earned more than $16.4 million in first-year scholarships. Of the class, 93% received at least one merit-based scholarship, and many students were awarded generous aid packages that will allow them to attend their colleges of choice debt-free. For freshman year alone, each college-bound student earned an average of $71,300 in scholarship awards.

Several students earned highly selective honors, scholarships and opportunities. Nine students were named National Merit Finalists, 28 earned the Kelben Scholarship and 10 students were accepted into the All-In Milwaukee program.

Seven students will graduate as members of the Milwaukee Fellows Program, six will graduate as members of Marquette University’s Upward Bound Program and three will graduate as members of the Boys & Girls Clubs Grad Plus Program.

Two graduates, Edward Ozczarski and Joe Walters, were appointed to both the United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Naval Academy. Both will attend West Point.

Aldo Villanueva and Ezra Olson earned the prestigious Chick Evans Scholarship, a full housing and tuition college scholarship for golf caddies.

Ethan-Jeffrey Lomo-Tettey earned the QuestBridge Scholarship and will attend Yale University with a fully funded education.

This year’s graduates have also discerned a variety of meaningful pathways beyond MUHS, including beginning careers in real estate and entering apprenticeships to become electricians and steamfitters. The school commends the entire class for practicing Ignatian discernment.

Several graduates will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Members of the Class of 2026 have committed to compete in baseball, soccer, swimming, track and cross country, football, adaptive basketball and lacrosse at programs across NCAA Divisions I, II and III, the NAIA, the National Wheelchair Basketball Association and the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
