Marquette University High School has been selected for the Kiwanis Club of Milwaukee’s Hall of Fame Award, recognizing organizations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to the long-term betterment of the Milwaukee community.

The award was presented by the Kiwanis Club of Milwaukee on October 15, 2025.

Established in 2005, the Hall of Fame Award honors a Milwaukee organization that enhances the lives of residents and visitors through service and impact. MUHS was recognized for its Jesuit mission of forming “men for others” and for cultivating leaders grounded in faith, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to justice.

The Key Club is an international student-led service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International whose mission is to offer its members opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership. The Kiwanis Club of Milwaukee has sponsored the MUHS Key Club since 1968.

Some examples of the Key Club's work are the MUHS Blood Drive, MUHS All-School Toy Drive with the House of Peace, and weekly assistance to the Jim Luther New Hope Center. All members commit to completing a minimum of 35 hours of service per year through Key Club events and community projects.

The MUHS Key Club is moderated by Mrs. Annette Cleary and Ms. Luz Beltran.

Kiwanis cited the MUHS tradition of excellence across academics, athletics, the arts, and faith formation, as well as the school’s strong community service program.
