In addition to their math classes, Math Club students hone their mathematical skills by taking monthly competitive tests and participating in events throughout the state and Milwaukee area. Students can see their improvement on a real-time basis, achieving higher competition scores and becoming more confident in their math skills.

The Math Club is moderated by Mr. Matt Jaques, math and economics teacher. The club is open to every grade level and anyone who wishes to join, especially those who share a love for solving difficult math problems and equations.

Marquette High has a proud tradition of teaching and preparing its students well in mathematics, with the average MUHS ACT Math score of 28, which is six points higher than the ACT benchmark.

Math Club is just one part of the MUHS commitment to instilling the skills that top universities and employers seek in applicants. STEM courses and co-curriculars are a large part of developing student minds and leaders.

MUHS students are highly encouraged to join and participate in co-curricular activities offered throughout the school year, including Math Club, Science Olympiad, and Robotics.
