Athletic Director Robert Herman '85 challenged this group to aspire to four principles as they continue their academic and athletic careers.

  • Strive to be great academically. "More opportunities open to you when one keeps academics as a priority," Herman said.
  • Give great effort on the field of play. "Improve yourself athletically every day."
  • Be a great teammate. "Coaches will look past your talents to see if the way you interact with your team is compatible with the culture," Herman said.
  • Be a person of great character. Conduct yourself in a way that is respectful and admirable in a way that is like Christ, the man who should be your model."

We wish them all the best in their collegiate careers!
