Sophomores and juniors interested in applying for the Jesuit High School Honor Society must complete the application for membership by no later than Wednesday, March 4, at 3:30 p.m. All current sophomores and juniors are eligible assuming they meet the requirements as described in the application.

NOTE: All applicants must sign up in the Academic Success Center (Room 231) to tutor during their free period in order to be considered for membership. If students missed the sign up for tutoring during Senior Shared Life, they should try and come in during their free period and connect with the Academic Support teacher for that hour. If they’re interested in tutoring after school for Ninth Hour, they should connect with Ms. Egan.

The Jesuit High School Honor Society is designed to commend students who represent the qualities of the graduate at graduation. Applicants must provide evidence of academic excellence, a commitment to justice, the exemplification of love in action through service and leadership and an understanding and acknowledgement of how their religious commitment is reflected in involvement in a community. Appropriate essay, signatures and Academic Support tutoring sessions must be included with the submitted packet. The application requires signatures of parents and advisors.

Any applications submitted after the March 4 deadline will not be considered for membership. Applications are reviewed by a faculty committee. Students accepted into the organization will be notified by the end of March. The Induction Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 21.
