MUHS golf coach

Marquette University High School welcomes Davis Jensen as new head coach of the Hilltoppers golf program. Jensen currently serves as Director of Instruction at North Shore Country Club in Mequon and is a PGA Class A member with a record of developing skills for student-athletes.

A Division III All-American and PGA National Club Professional qualifier (Philadelphia PGA Section), Jensen has coached high school and college golfers and helped local students earn college golf scholarships.

Before joining North Shore Country Club, Jensen led instruction at Five Iron Golf in Chicago and held professional roles at nationally recognized clubs including Merion Golf Club (PA), Tara Iti (New Zealand), Shoreacres (IL), Mountain Lake (FL), and North Shore Country Club (IL). He is a graduate of the Methodist University PGA Golf Management program.

This transition follows the retirement of Brad Niswonger, who concluded 13 seasons as head coach after guiding the Hilltoppers to 10 WIAA state tournament appearances and four Division 1 state championships (2016, 2018, 2019, 2025), plus a state runner-up finish in 2017.

Last year, the 2025 team set a WIAA 36-hole scoring record (684) in a dominant state-title performance. MUHS extends its deep gratitude to Coach Niswonger for his leadership and the championship standard he set for our program.
