However, in the midst of these uncertain times, we are hearing more and more about the positive impact practicing gratitude has on our overall well-being and its effects on rewiring the brain's neural pathways for happiness and decreasing negative or anxious thoughts. Together We Can: Keep Life in Balance during a Pandemic Clinicians from North Shore Center LLC are providing parent support groups Tuesdays in December from noon to 1 p.m. Topic examples include facilitating socialization during the pandemic, activating well being, understanding your teen's emotions, and supporting your child with ADHD in a virtual learning setting. Getting a Flu Shot is Critial During COVID-19 Pandemic Getting a flu shot is always important but reducing illness and hospitalization from flu is critical this year. Both influenza and COVID-19 are respiratory illnesses, but until there is a vaccine against COVID-19, the way to help prevent these two viruses from circulating at the same time is to get your flu vaccine now. Flu can be dangerous, for both adults and children. The best treatment is prevention. We all need to do everything possible to make a difference this flu season, so let's keep people flu-free while we focus on ending COVID-19. For more information about flu vaccinations visit: Who Needs a Flu Vaccine and When MUHS Admissions Applications for Fall 2021 If you have a future Hilltopper or know of an 8th grader who is interested in attending Marquette High, please feel free to share the following information.
