August 19, 2021 HILLTOPPER PARENT WEEKLY Dear Parents and Guardians, It has become a tradition to adopt an annual spiritual theme that serves to unite us in community. Our theme brings focus and a deeper purpose to various initiatives, gatherings, and activities throughout the school year. We invite the MUHS community to celebrate this Ignatian year with our theme, "IGNATIUS 500". Our theme will help us learn more about the life of St. Ignatius and his spiritual conversion after he was struck by a cannonball in the battle of Pamplona. The theme will also give our students moments to reflect on their own "cannonball" moments and how these experiences may help them grow. I am confident your son will experience many moments of intellectual growth, faith formation, and brotherly love during the year. You are invited to use our IGNATIUS 500 prayer as we pray for the MUHS community this year.
