November 18, 2021 HILLTOPPER PARENT WEEKLY Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius concludes with the "Contemplation of the Love of God." In this beautiful reflection he asks us to reflect each day on the many gifts we have received with a grateful heart and how we may respond in generosity to these blessings. It is for this reason that as a Catholic school we pause in the middle of each afternoon to reflect and pray with the Examen. Hopefully this practice helps us to become more grateful, loving, and generous. Next Tuesday, MUHS will gather for an all-school Mass to give thanks for the many blessings of the year. As a grateful community we will invite students to respond generously to the annual holiday drive. Contributions will support the House of Peace in assisting families in need this season.
On behalf of the faculty and staff I want to express our deep thanks to our parents. We are grateful for allowing MUHS to partner with you in your son's education and formation. It is because of your dedicated support, trust, and confidence that the mission of MUHS is made possible.
May you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving and restful break!
In Gratitude,
Jeff Monday Principal
