Last evening our chorus concert warmed everyone's hearts by sharing their talents with beautiful Christmas carols. Today the faculty and staff gathered for an Advent prayer service and this morning the MUHS community celebrated the final Thursday liturgy of the year. Advent is a time when we are reminded of the light of Christ in our world. It is wonderful to witness Christ's light in our school as a place of faith, scholarship, and community. His light is shown through countless acts of kindness and service and the care and love that is shown to one another. Thank you for your continued support of our school's mission to prepare young men to be the light of Christ in a broken world. May you have a Merry Christmas and many blessings in the New Year! May you enjoy a fun and safe holiday break with family and friends. AMDG, Jeff Monday Principal |

Response to National TikTok Activity As you may have heard, there is a TikTok post circulating that suggests schools nationwide are receiving threats of potential violence on Friday, Dec. 17. The origin of the post is unknown, nor has a specific school been mentioned. MUHS has not received any threat. If a credible threat were to be received, the school community would be promptly notified and appropriate safety protocols would be implemented. MUHS as well as local law enforcement actively monitor social media concerns such as this. We wanted you to be aware, as it is always important to monitor your son's social media for potential concerns. Archdiocese of Milwaukee Email Notification |

From College Counseling For Senior Parents - A few semester break tips and reminders and joyous Christmas greetings from the College Counseling Team. An exciting 2022 awaits! College Need-based Financial Aid Application Process: If not yet completed, we strongly encourage our senior families to file the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by early January 2022 for consideration of colleges' need-based financial assistance. Please consult your son's colleges' financial aid websites, always the best source of information for each college, to determine if any additional financial aid forms are required. In addition to the FAFSA, some colleges also require the CSS Profile as well as other tax documents. Completing the required forms/documentation by early January will allow timely financial aid notifications from the colleges to which your son is admitted and help you make an informed decision on a best fit college choice, which includes financial fit. Weekly Student Bulletin Tips, Reminders and Scholarships: The College Counseling Team posts timely tips and reminders for seniors' college application process and a Scholarship Shout-Out list of scholarship opportunities in the weekly Student Bulletin. Encourage your senior to share the Bulletin (or you can find archived editions on the Parent Portal) and review along with him.
