| Dear Parents and Guardians, It is hard to believe that it has only been a week since the return from Christmas break. The rise of COVID cases has complicated the beginning of the semester. While we continue to carefully monitor our current situation, we speculate we reached this omicron peak. Please review COVID data and updates provided at the end of this newsletter. |

| In spite of the current COVID challenges, our students have cooperated with our updated protocols and the fullness of student life continues. This weekend our Science Olympiad team will compete at an out-of-state tournament, our Prep Players will perform Much Ado About Nothing and Moby Dick, and the MUHS community will celebrate our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Mass on Sunday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. in the Three Holy Companions Chapel. Next week a group of seniors will attend the Kairos 138 retreat, we will celebrate Diversity Week as an entire school, and student delegates will attend the March for Life trip in Washington D.C. The vibrancy of the school community is certainly alive and well. Let us pray for those impacted by COVID and for the success of this semester. And as always, thank you for trusting MUHS for your son's education. AMDG, Jeff Monday Principal |

First Semester Grades Semester 1 grades and comments are available in Skyward. To see the grade, students and parents should click the "Grading" tile to access grades. If you only see 2nd semester courses listed, change the "Grades Filter" setting at the top of the page to "all year." The tabs under the student name allow you to view Grades, GPA and Honor Roll information. As you view student grades, please note that some teachers included final exam grades within the S1 column rather than the FE1 (Final Exam 1) column. If you click on the S1 grade you will be able to see the grade breakdown. Comments can be viewed by downloading the Semester 1 Report cards. Parents and students are able to access these by clicking "Portfolio" and downloading the 2021-22 Semester 1 report card. |
