In the midst of these normal March activities, I am reminded where we were just two years ago. Our school quickly shifted to an online platform as we did our part to "flatten the curve" and adhere to the State order in response to COVID-19. Our lives were turned upside down in unimaginable ways, and in the face of the many challenges our school continued to fulfill its mission of faith and scholarship. It required sacrifice, trust, and hard work of the entire MUHS community to make this happen. While we may try to forget all we have endured since March 2020, the recent realities of our world have helped us better cherish the small moments of today. Moments of our students giving one another hugs during Mass and high-fives in the hallway, moments of students gathered together watching the exciting plays of a game, and moments of priceless interactions of teachers and students in classes and co-curricular activities. May your St. Patrick's Day be filled with a spirit of gratitude for the small blessings of our lives and an optimism for brighter days ahead. AMDG, Jeff Monday Principal |
