Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! After a busy summer of student programs, classes, mission trips, activities, and some renovation projects we are thrilled to welcome your sons on campus during registration on Aug. 17. This week we welcomed the new faculty and staff as they join a talented team of educators. They met with several groups to learn about the different aspects of life at MUHS and are looking forward to offering their gifts and expertise in working with your son and advancing our school's mission. In one meeting our new faculty heard a group of parents share their expectations and gratitude for the formational and educational opportunities provided to students at MUHS. Parents spoke about the distinctive pillars of an MUHS education including faith, scholarship, and community and commitment to cura personalis, care for the whole person. In that spirit of cura personalis, we recognize that students enter the new year with the mixed emotions of excitement, anxiousness, and some end-of-summer blues. We look forward to meeting your son where he is in these feelings and will provide him consistent care and support as he begins new experiences of the 2022-23 school year. AMDG, Jeff Monday

Course Change and Withdrawal Policy The Course Selection process requires students, parents, and advisors to choose carefully and thoughtfully the courses for the year, including alternate course selections. The master schedule and individual student schedules are created based on these selections. These selections are also used to determine teaching assignments and hiring decisions. Because of this, subsequent changes are only permissible if certain conditions are met. For additional information on this process, please click here. |
Expectations for Student Devices Every family is expected to provide a working device to their son, every day for school. Chromebooks are available for checkout if something goes wrong with your student's device, but they will not be available at the start of the school year. If you have any questions about the type of device to purchase, please go to this page on our website that shares detailed information on requirements. If you have additional questions about device specifications, email support@muhs.edu. Food Service Online Payment System RevTrak, Quest Food's online payment system, allows families to monitor their son's lunchtime purchases, track what their son has been eating for the past 30 days, make deposits directly into their meal accounts, and have an email reminder sent when an account balance gets low. This cashless system keeps the lunch lines moving. To activate these features, an online parent account is needed. Instructions with student user ID and a verification code was emailed to families on July 28. Parent Instructions for RevTrak For information about meal plan options, visit the Food Service webpage on the MUHS website. Representatives from Quest Foods will be available on Registration Day.
