PARENT NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It was wonderful to feel the positive energy of students (and parents) as they returned to campus during registration yesterday. Earlier today the Big Brothers enthusiastically welcomed the Class of 2026 for orientation as they begin their MUHS journey. We look forward to coming together on the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 22.

It is an MUHS tradition to adopt an annual spiritual theme that serves to unite us in community. Our theme brings focus and a deeper purpose to various initiatives, gatherings, and activities throughout the school year. This year's theme of "Represent" invites us to embody the ideals previously expressed in the 2021-22 Ignatian Year and to live faithfully as "Ambassadors for Christ," as stated by the apostle St. Paul. I am confident your son will experience many moments of intellectual growth, faith formation, brotherly love, and Hilltopper pride during this academic year.

As parents, you are also invited to "represent" by participating in the life of MUHS. Your involvement is valued and an essential part of our community. As we begin the school year, parents are invited to attend our "Back-to-School" Nights on Wednesday, Aug. 24, for freshman parents and Wednesday, Aug. 31, for parents of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Please see the information below so that you may participate in these evenings to meet your son's teachers and hear about learning opportunities and expectations.

Thank you for your ongoing support of your son's education at MUHS. We look forward to seeing you at our "Back-to-School" nights and other school events throughout the semester.

AMDG,

Mr. Jeff Monday

Principal
