And this weekend, we will enjoy the tradition of Senior Follies, play-in post-season athletic competition, celebrate the Open House Mass with current and future MUHS families, and welcome prospective MUHS families to our annual Open House. We invite you and your son to participate in any of these activities. Earlier in the week your sons met with their advisors to discuss their first quarter grades reflecting on areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. Next week we will hold parent-teacher conferences to discuss your son's academic progress. Open to Growth is one of the "Grad at Grad" ideals that defines a MUHS education. These conversations are aimed in supporting your son as he becomes open to growth to the challenges and opportunities of this year and beyond. As always, thank you for providing your son a Catholic education in the Jesuit tradition. If you know of middle school students or families who would benefit from the faith-based, college-preparatory experiences of Marquette High, please encourage them to visit our school during the Open House on Sunday. AMDG, Mr. Jeff Monday Principal | Senior Follies Oct. 21-23 This year's Senior Follies production will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday - Sunday, Oct. 21 - 23, in the O'Rourke Performing Arts Hall. Members of the Class of 2023 will deliver their unique contribution to this theatrical tradition. Tickets are $8/general admission and can be purchased at the door or online at https://muhs.ticketspice.com/senior-follies-2022. |

Meals for the Beine Family JohnPaul Beine continues his journey toward recovery from his injuries. His family is extremely grateful to the MUHS community for all of the support and prayers that have been offered. The Mothers Guild is assisting in filling a meal train, created by a Beine family friend. In selecting a date, please note that you are cooking for only three people and meals would need to be delivered to the Beine's home in West Bend. (MUHS will not be coordinating food delivery.) There are no food allergies or sensitivities and food may arrive already cooked or with instructions on how to cook. Please keep in mind that the organizer of the meal train is not an MUHS parent so if you have any questions please reach out to Tracie Sparks or Heather Ferber. Sign up and details may be found here: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/2e60z7 |

From College Counseling SENIOR PARENTS Scoir Parent Account Activation: Seniors have officially registered with Scoir (pronounced "score") and are actively using the platform to research and apply to schools across the country. As a partner in your student's college search and application process, it is essential that parents also have access to Scoir. Please refer to the recent email sent to senior parents that outlines the easy steps toward parent account activation. College Financial Aid Tips Of The Week: Narrated video, timely tips and resources for the fall 2023 college financial aid process were recently shared in an email following our MUHS/DSHA College Financial Aid Night held earlier this month. Is the CSS Profile (or other additional forms) required by your student's college(s)? While the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form all colleges/universities use for need-based aid consideration, some colleges also require additional forms, the CSS Profile being the most common. Best advice: Research your student's college(s) websites to confirm which form(s) are required for financial aid consideration and their preferred/priority filing dates. College Goal Wisconsin offers free assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). College Goal Wisconsin events are led by college financial aid professionals and offer both in-person and virtual FAFSA completion events. Please register in advance here.
