Annual Giving Funds

Each year our generous alumni, parents and friends make financial contributions to help us deliver the Marquette High mission to deserving young men.

We purposely keep tuition ($16,450) lower than the actual cost of an MUHS education ($26,375) to make this Catholic Jesuit educational experience more accessible to those who desire it. That leaves a Mission Margin of $9,925 per student that makes the extraordinary possible. The Mission Margin offers the grace to cover what tuition cannot.

Unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund and Parent Partnership support a myriad of programs and activities that comprise the MUHS educational experience. Additionally Sponsor A Student and the Micah Fund provide scholarships and necessities (books, lunches, clothing, etc.), respectively, for our students from middle and lower-income households.

Micah Fund

The Micah Fund was created in the spirit of cura personalis to support the growing needs of MUHS students experiencing financial hardship. Through it, MUHS strives to respectfully assist underprivileged students with basic necessities such as nutrition, transportation, clothing and school supplies. The fund also provides financial assistance to cover emergency needs and to subsidize extra-curricular activity fees.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match the contributions that employees make to nonprofit organizations such as Marquette University High School. Under a corporate matching gift program, gifts made by a company's eligible employee, employee's spouse or a retiree may be matched with company or corporate foundation funds—sometimes doubling or tripling the initial gift.

The process for submitting a matching gift claim differs from company to company. Some require a completed paper form, others have an online system, while others request that claims be filed by telephone. In the event that your company provides a paper matching gift claim form, please complete it and mail to:

Please note that a matching gift does not increase your charitable deduction but does count toward your total giving for recognition in our giving club levels.
