baccalaureate mass
We will celebrate our Baccalaureate Mass for graduates and parents/guardians on Saturday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at Gesu Parish (1145 W. Wisconsin Ave.) on the Marquette University Campus. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Attendance at this Mass is not required. There is not a limit in the number of guests for each graduate. Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Appropriate dress for the seniors is a shirt, tie, dress shoes and dress pants.
If your grad has a family member who is a Catholic priest or deacon, especially one who is an MUHS alumnus, you may wish to ask him if he would like to concelebrate the liturgy. If he says yes, please provide his contact information to Fr. Ross Pribyl by Friday, May 1, so that we can provide your relative with the information he will need to participate in the celebration.
Commencement
Commencement for the Class of 2026 will be held at the Miller High Life Theatre (500 W. Kilbourn Avenue) on Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. There will not be tickets for the graduation and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. The ceremony will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person and a link for the live-stream will be sent to senior parents prior to May 24.
Graduates must arrive by 9:30 a.m. with their cap, tassel and gown. They will be directed where to go once they arrive. Students may not decorate their cap or gown other than what has been provided through the school. Appropriate dress for the seniors is a shirt, tie, dress shoes and dress pants.
Share Photos of your Senior to be Highlighted in Class of 2026 Video
We are collecting photos for a video celebrating our Class of 2026. We're asking for two photos to help us honor your graduating student:
- One current photo of your graduating student. (A senior photo or an individual photo of your son wearing MUHS gear or taking part in a school activity is ideal.)
- One childhood photo taken anytime before high school.
Photos can be sent to social@muhs.edu with the subject line: 2026 Graduation Video. The deadline to submit photos is May 15, and the video will be featured at graduation and on MUHS social media channels.
Proud Graduate Yard Signs
"Proud Graduate" yard signs for the Class of 2026 will be available in early May. We will communicate through the Hilltopper Parent Weekly when they will be available for pickup.
"Graduate at Graduation" Assembly / Farewell mass
Members of the Class of 2026 will be honored during an all-school "Graduate at Graduation" assembly on Wednesday, May 13. We will also have our final all-school Liturgy on Friday, May 15, where our school community will bid farewell to our seniors.
Photos of Ceremony
Photos of this year's graduation ceremony will be taken by Visual Image Photography (VIP). All images will be posted online for view and order about a week after graduation. You will receive an email when they are ready to view and order, or you can visit www.vipis.com. Please contact VIP at support@vipis.com with any questions.
School Logo Usage for Graduation Celebrations
Please email brand@muhs.edu if you would like to use the MUHS school or athletics logos on custom graduation celebration items. Logo requests will be reviewed to provide proper logo files under brand guidelines. As copyrighted images, the school's logos may not be altered or recreated. Graduation cookies with approved MUHS logos may also be ordered from Edible Impressions.
