Student Health Services

Marquette High's Student Health Service is staffed by volunteers and is open during the school year.

Staffed Daily:
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The Student Health Center's main objectives are:

  • To administer basic first aid during the school hours.
  • To facilitate communication of non-urgent medical needs to parents and guardians.

In addition to basic first aid and communication, the long range objectives of the Student Health Center include:

  • Providing a centralized location for maintenance of student health information and records; i.e. medication administration permission forms, immunizations, medic alert information
  • Facilitate a wellness plan for students that addresses emotional, nutritional and physical fitness concerns
  • First Aid, CPR and AED training for faculty, staff, students and volunteers

All Student Health Center volunteers will be asked to take the American Red Cross School Health Responder Course which will be offered at MUHS by a registered nurse. The course will review basic first aid as well as confidential communication. There is no cost for the course. Any parent who is interested in volunteering in the Student Health Center may contact the dean of students.
